Team Effort On Display As Cyclones Blow Past North Central

It was an offensive team effort Monday as seven Cyclones found the hoop, winning the first-round of subdistricts. 

No. 5 Clearwater-Orchard defeated No. 4 North Central 53-42, advancing the second round against top-seed St. Mary's on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Neligh-Oakdale in the Class D1-7 subdistrict.

Whitney Rittscher led the Cyclones with 15 points, including 7-of-10 from the free-throw line. She also pulled down eight rebounds. Mallory Cooper added 11 points while Allee Snider chipped in eight more to go along with her six rebounds.
