Seniors Hope To Lead Cyclones To Improved 2016-17 Season

2016-17 season preview: The Cyclones enter the 2016-17 season hoping to improve on last season’s 8-14 record.

Coach Karley Jackson inherits a squad that loses a lot of experience from the previous season, with just two returning players who averaged more than five points per game in 2015-16.

Those two players will be looked to for leadership all season. Seniors Kinzly Macke and Kylie Thiele hope to lead the charge for improvement. Macke averaged 7.6 points and 6.2 rebounds per game last season while Thiele averaged 5.1 points, 1.7 assists and 2.3 steals per game last year.

The Cyclones first get to action Thursday, December 1, when they take on St. Mary’s.
