What activities did you participate in while in high school? Football, wrestling, golf, speech, one act, FFA, Skills USA, student council, band, journalism, National Honor Society, CCD, Knights of Columbus and 4-H
What is your favorite memory of high school?  My favorite memory of high school is being a teacher’s assistant in the kindergarten and preschool rooms. Being able to work with Mrs. Patras, Mrs. Bazelman, and Mrs. Marsh really helped me decide on a future career path, and working with the kids would always turn a bad day into a good one!
What advice can you offer underclassmen?  First, become involved as much as you can, and do not forget the people who helped get you to the places you are. Second, know your boundaries and how far you are able to push yourself before you reach that breaking point. Third, do not regret anything you did, because those decisions are what made you the person you are today. Finally, have fun, by the time you get to the end of your senior year, you will be ready to get out of high school and go to college.
What are your future plans (college with major if known or workforce) and where do you hope to be in five years?  After graduation, I plan to attend Wayne State College to earn a degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. Within five years, I plan to have graduated with my degree and teaching license. I then hope to have started my teaching career in Clearwater as a lower elementary or preschool teacher. By this time, I also plan on being married and preparing to start a family.
