[email protected] Clearwater elementary school students had an assembly on Thursday morning, featuring Nebraska Elk with Kids on the Block. The assembly consisted of two fun puppet skits, both with messages on positive behavior and attitude towards classmates. The puppet show was lead out by Miss Brenda and Miss Charlotte, who also lead out in a discussion period after each skit. According to the Kids on the Block website, “The Kids on the Block are a troupe of puppets designed to educate students. The puppets with their unique personalities and easy going manner captures the attention of both children and adults.” The Nebraska puppet troupe travel all over the state presenting these skits to schools. The website states that,”The Nebraska Elks Association in conjunction with Kids on the Block, sponsors these programs at no cost to any school in the State of Nebraska. Clearwater students laughed along with the skits and enthusiastically engaged in the discussions. |
