O-C Cylones Pick Up A Dominating Victory Over The Cougars

Friday night, was a successful road trip for the Clearwater-Orchard Cyclones at Niobrara/Verdigre.

The team got on the board after Andy Kerkman recovered a fumble for a 12 yard touchdown. The team scored three more touchdowns in the first quarter, including a 20 yard touchdown pass from Zach Martin to Andy Kerkman.

By halftime the Cyclones were leading the Cougars 24-0.  Niobrara/Verdigre got on the board in the 3rd quarter with their first touchdown of the night.

The team had 122 passing yards and 117 rushing yards on the night.  Senior Andy Kerkman had a total of 2 sacks on the night for a total loss of 4 yards.

This win will leave the Cyclones with a 4-3 season record. Up next, they will be on the road taking on neighboring school Neligh-Oakdale next Thursday.
