Cyclones Split With Osmond As Girls Pick Up Another Win

Senior Whitney Rittscher put up 25 points as Clearwater-Orchard defeated Osmond on Saturday to earn the split on the road. The girls won 59-53 while the boys lost 69-55.

Rittscher was 10-of-19 from the field and 5-of-8 from the free-throw line. She added six rebounds, three assists and three steals. Mallory Cooper also scored in double figures with 10.

Andy Kerkman had a double-double with 32 points and 28 rebounds. The Cyclones struggled from behind the arc, hitting just 2-of-17 from the 3-point line. 

The Cyclones will host Elkhorn Valley on Tuesday in an all-Antelope County matchup.
