Cyclones Head To Semifinals After Win Over The Wolfpack

 The Clearwater-Orchard Cyclones had a thrilling night in the quarterfinals last night in Elgin as they took on the Wolfpack.

Wolfpack were the first on the scoreboard and the Cyclones trailed by two points heading into the second quarter after a 25 yard touchdown pass to Andy Kerkman.

The two teams were neck in neck throughout the game, but the Cyclones pulled ahead in the fourth quarter. The Cyclones scored on a 57 yard touchdown pass to Andy Kerkman. The Cyclones ending up taking the game 42-28. 

The Cyclones had 165 passing yards, 162 from quarterback Zach Martin.  The team had 68 tackles on the night including 16 from senior Derik Allen.  Allen and Kerkman each had 3 sacks on the night for a total of 21 lost yards.

Up Next the 8-3 Cyclones will travel to take on Burwell in the semifinals. The game will be held Monday, November 16 at 5 p.m.
