Clearwater To Host State Powerlifting Meet On Saturday

The top power lifters in Class D will make their way to Clearwater this weekend to take part in the 2017 Nebraska Class D State Powerlifting Meet.

The competitors will battle for the honor of top power lifter in Nebraska at Clearwater School beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday.

Clearwater-Orchard will be well represented over the weekend. Members of the Cyclones Powerlifting team participating are: 
High school - Seth Lampert, Shane Van Ostrand, Cade Mlnarik, Tyler Wright, Creston Bertschinger, Shawn Buxton, Zane Herley, Uriel Salas, Tristan Ahler, Clay Thiele, Zach King, Houston Marino, Ira Lampert, Vanessa Carpenter, Jaiden Switzer, Brooklynn Chipps and JacKay Humphries.
Junior high - Rafe Grebin, Tyler Bellar, Anthony Umphress, Colton Thiele, Wyatt Chipps and Logan Mueller. 
Exhibition lifters - Gunnar Shabram, Wyatt Shabram, Coy Wickersham and Cash Wickersham.
