Clearwater-Orchard To Play Randolph For Chance At D1 Title

Underdogs according to seeding, Clearwater-Orchard and Randolph defied the odds and have guaranteed either a No. 6 or 7 team will play for the Class D1 state championship.

The No. 7 Cyclones will take on No. 6 Randolph at 9 a.m. Friday morning in the semifinals at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln.

Clearwater-Orchard defeated No. 2 North Platte St. Patrick's 46-42 on Thursday morning while Randolph topped No. 3 Elm Creek 41-39 early Thursday afternoon.
