Clearwater-Orchard Golfers Win Second Meet Of Season

Senior Tate Schutt of the O-C Cyclones led a sweep of the top five positions at the dual golf meet with Spalding/Spalding Academy on Thursday at Spalding. 

Clearwater-Orchard defeated S/SA by 15 strokes, 179 to 194. Schutt shot a 42 followed by Jacob Tabbert with a 43, Aaron Hauf a 44, Cameron Bolling a 45 and Riley Snider 64. They are coached by Bill Tabbert.       

The JV teams each shot 211. The O-C JV team scores were: Tyson Peed 45, Zach Martin 50, Keelie Meyer 52, and Peyton Clifton 65. Other O-C golfers were Briana Stelling, Katie Funk, Jacob Twibell, Antonio Soto, Grady Bellingtier, Tiffany Peed, and Sean Krebs.

The Cyclone varsity team is 2-0 and the JV team 1-1 on the season.
