Clearwater-Orchard Antonio Soto Sinks 180 Yard Hole In One

Clearwater-Orchard senior Antonio Soto had an action-packed 24 hours between winning a state championship in SkillsUSA firefighting on Friday and recording a hole in one at the Osmond Invite on Saturday.

Soto hit the hole in one on the 180 yard 8th hole of the Rolling Hills golf course. 

​At the Osmond Invite, Ryan Wilhelm also won the O-C team's first medal of the year, finishing in the top 20 on a day when the wind howled as he carded 97 for the day.    

The Varsity team for the meet were Wilhelm, Soto, Blake Hoke, Sean Krebs and Travis Rudloff.

Cyclone Golf Team also competed in Creighton, where they were able to test themselves on a course that had narrow fairway, tough greens, and plenty of water. 

Freshman Clay Thiele shot the team best score followed by Ryan Wilhelm and Travis Rudloff.   Peyton Clifton, and Grady Bellingtier were the other two in the top five.

The next meet is the NVC meet in Bassett scheduled for the 26th.
