There was a special guest at last weekend's Plainview Klown Days - Tayven Sauser. Sauser was one of four teenagers injured in a one-vehicle accident April 20 one mile southwest of Brunswick - south of the intersection of 526 Ave. and 863 Road. Three of the four occupants were ejected from the vehicle when the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing the SUV to roll multiple times and land in the east ditch, according to the Antelope County Sheriff’s office.
"Tayven suffered fractures in his T4 and T10 vertebrae. This requires him to lie flat at no more than a 15-degree angle during his recovery process," according to Midwest Medical Transport's Facebook page. Midwest Medical said it was called to the scene to assist with his treatment before Sauser was life flighted. Sauser and his family were planning to attend the Plainview City Celebration Bull Riding Event prior to his accident.
Thanks to Julie Tschirren and Midwest Medical, Sauser was able to spend this time with his family and friends at the event.
"We were proud to be a part of this special event and a part of this wonderful community," Midwest Medical wrote.
