Two Creighton men were ejected and transported to the hospital following a single-vehicle rollover south of Brunswick early Saturday morning.
Darren Schwindt, 25, of Creighton was driving his 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix with passenger Heath Lemke, 22, also of Creighton on 527th road when it rolled just south of the intersection of 527th Road and 862nd Ave, according to Antelope County Sheriff Bob Moore.
Moore told the Antelope County News that the call came in at 2:25 a.m. and a medical helicopter was immediately put on standby. He said they were unable to help due to fog.
Moore said both men were ejected, but he was unsure if the vehicle rolled over them. They were both transported to Antelope Memorial Hospital; Moore said their conditions are unknown at this time.
The Brunswick Fire Department, Neligh-Oakdale Jaws of Life, Neligh Fire Department, Neligh Rescue, Midwest Medical Transport, Neligh Police Department, Nebraska State Patrol and Antelope County Sheriff's Department all responded to the scene.
The accident remains under investigation by the Nebraska State Patrol and Antelope County Sheriff's Department. - See more at: http://www.myantelopecountynews.com/brunswick/creighton-men-ejected-in-rollover-crash-south-of-brunswick#sthash.XuseAQSb.dpuf
