Tilden Woman Pleads Not Guilty To Five Charges

A 48-year-old Tilden woman has plead not guilty to five charges stemming from alleged fraudulent use of a credit card in December. 

Staci Giebelman was arrested in late December after she allegedly used a credit card belonging to an elderly woman for multiple purchases. During the investigation, she fled from the police in an alleged attempt to avoid incarceration. She was subsequently arrested before posting bond.

On Wednesday, she appeared in front of a judge for arraignment on five charges stemming from that incident: unauthorized use of a financial transaction device, operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest, providing false information, obstructing an officer and resisting arrest. 

Giebelman, who is currently incarcerated on other charges, pled not guilty to all five counts. A trial date was then set for June 13, 2017.
