Special Enforcement Leads To One Arrest In Antelope County

The Nebraska State Patrol held a special enforcement effort this past weekend in Antelope County focused on dangerous driving. The effort was aimed at reducing the risk of serious injury and fatality crashes.

Troop B of Norfolk was in charge of the effort for the NSP. The enforcement included vehicle checks and high visibility patrols. As a result of the special enforcement, one person was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. Several citations and warnings were issued as well, including four for Open Container, one for Speeding, one for Driving Under Suspension and one for No Proof of Insurance. 

The effort was made possible in part by an $880 grant from the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety.
