Seven FCCLA Students Qualify For State

Students from Antelope County competed at the FCCLA District STAR competition this afternoon with seven students finishing with several honors and a trip to state. 

Katy Fleetwood will represent Elkhorn Valley at the state competition in with a silver in advocacy - senior.

Elgin Public will be represented by Kenzie Rudolf with a silver national programs and action - senior.

Neligh-Oakdale will be represented by Hailey Bixler, Mercedes Heckert, Emma Bixler, Adrienne Parker, Lesly Luna, Skylar Long, Brittany Ingalls, Tonya Legate, Kendall Wiseman, Alex Morrison, Megan McWhorter, Meredith Wiseman, Alesha Bergman and Hannah Schrader.

Lesley Luna and Skylar Long, gold, chapter review portfolio; Adrienne Parker, silver, illustrated talk - junior; Emma Bixler and Hailey Bixler, silver, interpersonal communication - senior;  Alesha Bergman, gold, life event planning - junior; Mercedes Heckert, gold, chapter service portfolio - junior; Brittany Ingalls, Tonya Legate, Kendall Wiseman, Alex Morrison, Megan McWhorter, Meredith Wiseman, Hannah Schrader, silver, parliamentary procedure demonstration.

Also competing for Neligh-Oakdale was Izzy Smidt, silver, Nebraska health and wellness.
