Postponements & Cancellations For Antelope County

Up to 8 inches of snow is possible on Wednesday as Winter Storm Selene continues to move through the Plains Region.

According to the National Weather Service, 5-8 inches of snow is expected to fall. Rain will mix with and then change over to all snow by mid-afternoon today. Snow is then expected through the afternoon and ending tonight. 

Neligh-Oakdale:
The Neligh-Oakdale relay meet scheduled for Thursday, March 24 has been postponed until next Thursday, March 31 at 3:00 pm. in Creighton.

There will be a 10:00 late start tomorrow, Thursday, March 24 due to the weather. There will be no morning preschool and buses will run accordingly.

The volleyball meeting that was scheduled for tonight for students who will be in 7th through 12th grade next year has been postponed to Monday, March 28th from 5:30-6:30 in lab 1.

The Neligh-Oakdale Post Prom parent meeting scheduled for tonight has been postponed to next Wednesday, March 30, at 7:00 at the Neligh Public Library.

Elgin Public:
Elgin Public will have an early dismissal on Wednesday, March 23 at 1:00 pm. 
There will be no afternoon preschool. 
The Elgin Public speech team meet and depart at 11:00 am for Kearney.
Quiz Bowl will go on as scheduled.
