Neligh Family Dentistry Makes Smiles Light Up

Neligh Family Dentistry is five months in under the ownership of Dr. Tim Brovont, and are already helping smiles all over the area.
After 40 years of helping people smile, Dr. Terry Jensen passed on the the business to Brovont.

Jensen brought Brovont to Neligh in July 2015 in order to help him prepare for retirement. Brovont spent two years under Jensen as an associate dentist before taking over the dentist business in September 2017.

Brovont said that there are definitely challenges when first starting out, but the transition to being completely on his own has gone smoothly.

“There’s some definite learning curves, as any new owner would experience, but the transition between Dr. Jensen and myself has gone very smoothly,” he said.

The Neligh dental clinic offers all of the usual services utilizing state-of-the-art equipment. Neligh Family Dentistry is constantly looking to the future by updating dating equipment to keep up with technology. The office is also going green by going completely paperless and moving everything to digital, including digital diagnosis and treatment.

Recently, the practice purchased a digital panorex for pre-surgery and pre-orthodontic imaging.

In the near future, Brovont said that his wife will be looking to start orthodontic practices out of the Neligh Family Dentistry office downtown.

“My wife Cristina is a dentist as well, and she is completing training in traditional orthodontics with the wire brackets. Hopefully by the end of summer we will have that available here in the office in Neligh.”
