Kallhoff Rebounds From Tough First Day At State Golf Meet

Chase Kallhoff of Neligh-Oakdale rebounded from a very tough first day at the Class C State Golf Meet to improve by 20 strokes.

After shooting a 100 Tuesday for the first round, Kallhoff turned in a score of 80 to charge back up the board, jumping over 30 spots to finish tied for 57th. The combined rounds totaled a 38 over par for Kallhoff, ending his senior season as one of the top golfers in Antelope County.

Another top golfer for the county this season was Miles Schrage. Schrage, a junior for Elgin Public/Pope John, finished day two with a score of 101, bringing his two day total to 196, or 54 strokes over par. That score was good enough to earn Schrage 77th place in the field.
