Flood Update: Highway 275, 70 Open To Two-Lane Traffic

Both Highway 275 east of Oakdale and Highway 70 west of Elgin are now open to two-lane traffic with few remnants of a flood as of Friday afternoon.

According to the Nebraska Department of Roads (NDOR) at 3:30 p.m. Friday, neither highway was being monitored by the state.

Both highways experienced flash flooding early this morning after 4-6 inches of rain fell overnight in southern Antelope County. NDOR was called to Highway 275 around 2 a.m. and to Highway 70 at about 4:20 a.m.
