Benefit Planned For A Former Antelope County Man

The family of a former Antelope County man who is battling cancer for the second time is hoping a benefit will help with his medical costs.

Darwin McDonald was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer for the second time. To help him with costs associated with the cancer, family and friends are hosting a benefit and silent auction on July 23. The event will be at the Norfolk VFW at 316 Braasch Avenue from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.

There will be a free-will donation meal of pulled pork for all guests.
