  The Nebraska Extension is hosting a Beef Profitability Workshop in Neligh to help beef producers evaluate their operations to make them more profitable through the latest research information. The workshop will be held in the Antelope County Courthouse Meeting Room on Thursday at 1 p.m. Extension Educators will present topics such as Composting Livestock Mortality Carcasses, Mineral Nutrition, Grass Production, Cover Crop Production, Hay Storage and Hay Waste, Fencing and Watering Options on Crop Residue, Nebraska Fence Laws and others. The cost is $15.00. Pre-register by calling the local Extension Office at 402-887-5414 at least a day before the workshop to ensure there are enough handouts and refreshments.
