Antelope County 4-Hers Excel At Nebraska State Fair

Six Antelope County 4-Hers recently received special recognition at the 2018 Nebraska State Fair.

Special honors went to Baylee Chessmore, yellow onions; Marie Meis, heritage exhibit; Travis Rudloff, candy - carmels; Kassidy Grosserode, original acrylic painting and original ink drawing (her acrylic will be displayed at the UNL East Campus Union Art Gallery this fall); Kennedy Penne, dress (her dress was chosen to be displayed at the design gallery while at the state fair);  and Hannah Vraspir, upcycled garment - jacket (she also received a blue ribbon for modeling her dress).

Other recognitions included Taralyn Baum (her quilt was chosen to be displayed at the design gallery while at the state fair); Breanna Carr (her photography will be displayed in UNL’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources and the extension dean’s office); Kendra Carr (her photography will be displayed in UNL’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources and the extension dean’s office); and Trevin Hanson (showed swine, receiving a blue ribbon in market gilts and showmanship).
