A Significant Weather Advisory is in effect for northern Antelope County, according to the National Weather Service.
Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 14 miles north of Page to 4 miles southeast of Orchard to 12 miles south of Ewing. Movement was east at 35 mph. Half inch hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include Neligh, Plainview, Creighton, Bloomfield, Osmond, Wausa, Verdigre, Clearwater, Niobrara, Santee, Crofton, Pleasant Valley, Brunswick, Center, Winnetoon, Royal, Magnet, Foster, Bazile Mills and Lindy.
This includes Highway 275 in between mile markers 28 and 41, Hwy 81 between mile markers 186 and 197 and Hwy 20 between mile markers 335 and 370.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
