A trip to the other side of the state was a worthwhile one for Neligh-Oakdale's wrestlers this weekend.
The boys traveled to Cambridge on Saturday to take part in the Fran Jorgensen Invite. As a team, the Warriors racked up 109 points to take fifth in the 19-team field. Individually, seven Warriors brought home medals.
Leading the way was Andrew Herley, who once again took home first place at 132 pounds. He won all three of his matches by pin, spending a total 4:54 seconds on the mat.
Cameron Wlkinson took home second place at 113 pounds, with his only loss coming to undefeated Koby Smith of Elm Creek in the finals.
Jayden Arehart took home third place for the Warriors at 160 pounds, Brock Kester took fourth at 106, Cade Wilkinson and Kaleb Pofahl took fifth at 145 and 170, respectively, and Colton Klabenes earned sixth at 160 pounds.
