The Neligh-Oakdale girls and boys fates against Plainview were both decided late in the game, with the boys going into overtime.
In the final minutes of the girls game, just as the Lady Warriors got within striking distance, Plainview was able to pull away for the 44-32 win.
Paige Furstenau led the N-O girls with 15 points, followed by Brooke Frey with 5, Bailey Frey 4, and Rachel Higgins, Claire Whitesel, Kenzi Tschirren and Trinity Kurpgeweit each with 2.

In the boys matchup, the Warriors kept a narrow lead for most of the game, but the Pirates outscored them in the fourth to tie up the game, 34-34, at the end of regulation. Neligh-Oakdale came out firing in overtime and clutch free throws by Cole Belitz and Austin Rice put the game out of reach as they rolled to a 48-42 victory.
Belitz led all scorers with 25 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Rice put up a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds. Other scorers for the Warriors were Julien Hearn with 5 points, Nate Buck 4, and Isiac Kurpgeweit 2.
