14 teams made their way to Summerland and weathered a gloomy morning to finish out a beautiful day of golf on Wednesday at the Ewing Invite, three of which came from Antelope County.
Elgin Public/Pope John, Elkhorn Valley and Clearwater-Orchard all took part in the annually strong meet. The Wolfpack once again led the way for the local schools, finishing fourth on the day with a team score of 354. West Holt came away with the team title with a 304.
Much like he has all season, Chad Bode led EPPJ with a score of 81, good for fifth. Liam Heithoff also medaled for the Wolfpack, finishing 11th with an 85. Miles Schrage just missed out on a medal with an 89. Hunter Reestman finished with a 99 and Cade Heithoff ended with a 115.
For Clearwater-Orchard, the Cyclones were led by Ryan Wilhelm's 13th-place finish. He shot an 86, part of O-C's team score of 377, good for seventh. Zane Herley shot a 92 while Gage Clifton finished at 99. Blake Hoke and Codey Snider rounded out the Cyclone golfers, shooting 100 each.
Bryson Anderson was the lone Falcon to make the trip. He represented Elkhorn Valley well, finishing with a 90 on the day, just outside of medal contention.
