After a major reshuffling of classes in Nebraska football, the NSAA announced the release of the new district assignments on Thursday.

Elgin Public/Pope John moves down to D2 for the 2018-19 cycle. They will hit the field as part of the D2-4 district. Joining them will be Humphrey St. Francis, Osmond, Plainview, Riverside - a newcomer to 8-man - and Winside.
Clearwater-Orchard also moves down to D2, joining the D2-5 district. They will be joined by Central Valley, Chambers/Wheeler Central/Ewing, St. Mary's, Stuart and Twin Loup.
Schedules for the 2018-19 cycle will be announced at a later date.
