An Oakdale woman was arrested Monday night for allegedly threatening to kill a woman and her unborn baby.
A little before 10 p.m. Norfolk Police responded to 10th Street and Elm where reports of a disturbance were called in. When police arrived, some of the people involved in the disturbance had left.
On scene was a female victim who told police that 20-year-old Tori Starman of Oakdale had pushed her against a vehicle. According to the victim, Starman and 22-year old Keyawna Hightree then threatened to kill her and her unborn baby.
The victim, along with three witnesses, provided an account of the assault as well as a description of the car the suspects left in.
Hightree and Starman were located and then placed under arrest.
During a search, officers found a knife with a 4-inch blade as well as a smaller butcher knife in Hightree’s sweatshirt pocket. Hightree also had a scale and meth on her.
Starman was arrested for terroristic threats and Hightree was arrested for terroristic threats, possession of a concealed weapon and possession of a controlled substance. Both were taken to Norfolk City Jail before being transferred to Madison County Jail.
