New images have been released in the search of Sydney Loofe, who has been missing since Wednesday.
Although the family has no new information into the 24-year-old's whereabouts, the family decided on Sunday to release images of her tattoos since they are easily recognizable.
"We feel that she could be ANYWHERE! So we’ve decided to post her tattoos because they’re easily recognizable. Please let us know if you have any information that may be useful in locating her. We’re asking for you to please continue to share these posts and pray for her safe return. Thank you for all of your kind thoughts and prayers," said Susie Loofe, her mother.
Despite few leads in the search for Sydney, family members said they remain hopeful that she will be found.
Sydney was last heard from on Wednesday evening via a SnapChat prior to a date with someone she met on the Internet. She did not go to work on Thursday and her vehicle remains at her home.
Sydney is the daughter of George and Susie Loofe of Neligh.
We "just wanted to let everyone know that Sydney still hasn’t returned home, despite outstanding efforts by the Lincoln and Wilber Police Departments," Susie Loofe said via a Facebook message. "We’ve had very few leads but haven’t lost our hope that she will return safely soon. We’re overwhelmed by all of your prayers and concerns and so appreciate all of you who continue to share this post. Thank you and please keep praying."
The Neligh community is coming together on Sunday for a candlelight vigil to pray for Sydney's safe return. The vigil will be at 7:30 p.m at the Neligh-Oakdale football field. Those attending should bring their own candles. Grace Lutheran Pastor David Kufahl will lead the service.
George Loofe is the high school principal and assistant football coach at Neligh-Oakdale, and Susie Loofe is a teacher at the school and very involved in student and community activities.
Sydney is a 24-year-old, 5'7 female weighing about 130 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes. Her last known location was near Wilber, Nebraska.
If you have any information on her whereabouts, contact the Lincoln Police Department at 402-441-7204.
