"You're never too old,
too wacky, too wild,
to pick up a book
and read to a child."
The Neligh-Oakdale Teacher’s Association, in conjunction with the Title I program, is presenting this year’s Read Across America family reading night on Monday, March 3.
Family Reading Night will be held in the Neligh-Oakdale High School Gym from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. This year’s theme is Dr. Seuss books.
Be ready to join in on some wacky fun and read some silly books. Some of the books being highlighted include "Hooray for Diffendoofer Day," "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish," "Horton Hears a Who," "Green Eggs and Ham," "The Foot Book," "The Lorax," "Gerald McBoing-Boing," "Oh, the Places You’ll Go," "Hop on Pop," "Happy Birthday to You," and "The Cat in the Hat."
