The length of Darryl Lierman's upcoming jury trial and the status of search warrants were key components of District Court on Wednesday.
The Neligh man is facing 10 felony charges and is set to have his jury trial begin on May 16. Judge Mark Johnson asked attorneys how long they anticipate the trial to last. Lierman's attorney Ron Temple said "maybe a week tops, certainly not two weeks."
State attorney Joe Smith said he would let Johnson know more specifically at a later date.
Also during court, a motion was approved to unseal a search warrant in the case.
