This weekend is the last chance to buy Novemberfest tickets at the regular price of $20.
Starting on Tuesday, November 1, the price of tickets will go up to $30.
This year, due to the popularity, the event started with 400 tickets on sale, an increase from the 300 last year. Tickets have been selling fast, so don't miss out on your chance to get in on the fun.
Novemberfest will be on Saturday, Nov. 5, at the Neligh Legion from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with the Nebraska football game shown on a projector afterward.
Tickets are on sale at Antelope County Chiropractic, Thriftway Market in Neligh, Antelope County News and the Neligh Chamber of Commerce. He anticipates tickets selling out, as they did last year.
Like last year, all of the beer and wine served at the event was from Nebraska-based wineries and breweries. Simonsen said organizers want to make the event unique and looked to only Nebraska companies for the tasting.
Novemberfest will also feature a home brewery competition where locals can show of their talent of homemade wine or beer. The home brews will not be available to anyone other than the judges due to state law.
