For the second time in as many weeks, the Neligh-Oakdale band is bringing home a championship trophy.
The Warriors were named the top band in Class C at one of the most competitive marching competitions in the state - the Harvest of Harmony Parade. They also won Class C at the Lion's Club Parade last weekend and were named best overall band.
Director Nate Metschke said he was extremely proud of the band, which improved from second-place in Class C last year.
"I'm super proud of my students," Metschke said. "They really march and play with lots of pride. I'm anxious to listen to the judges' comments in class next week. They really raised the bar."
