Neligh-Oakdale's all-school play will feature one full-length play and one short play this weekend.
The plays, which are being directed by Ms. Tammy Marshall and Ms. Sharra Lutjens, will be performed on Friday, April 15 at 7 p.m.; Saturday, April 16 at 7 p.m.; and Sunday, April 17 at 1:30 p.m. in the Neligh-Oakdale High School Gym.
The full-length play is called “Francine’s Will” by Mary Datillo. Francine Faraday dies and leaves her entire estate to her longtime companion, H.P. Manly. While the loyal members of Francine’s staff are delighted, her money-hungry relatives are furious. Though the will is ironclad, the relatives find that they can inherit Francine’s fortune if H.P. dies of “natural” causes. As the family plots H.P.’s demise, the staff schemes to save him resulting in counter-plots and mixed-up romances aplenty.

CHESTER GREGSON: Francine’s longtime attorney – Ethan Kallhoff
BRAD SOMERS: Brenda’s fiancée, suave and selfish – Austin Miller
TIFFANY TREVOR: Stanley’s girlfriend; dumb and selfish – Natilee Payne
The short play is “He’s Having a Baby” by Fred Carmichael. In this farce, the men have the babies while
the women sit around in the waiting room.
