Neligh-Oakdale schools use an interesting method to get kids to come to class.
Two students were rewarded for their perfect attendance with cash. According to administrative assistant, Denise Gunderson each time a student has perfect attendance in the quarter their name is put in for a chance to win $50 or $100.
"Potentially their name could be in the "pot" 4 times," Gunderson said.
On the first week of school, the names were drawn for the winners.
Xavier Hart was the winner of Neligh-Oakdale Elementary School's $50 Perfect Attendance Drawing for last school year.
Hannah Brady of the freshmen class won $100 for perfect attendance in 7-12 grade.
