The Neligh Peewee team clawed its way back into the Quad County championship on Sunday night and will take on Tilden for the title.
Neligh defeated Plainview 16-13.
It was a tight battle late as the teams took a 10-all tie into the fifth inning. Neligh pulled ahead 13-10, but Plainview tied it up again.
With the score knotted at 16, the game went into extra innings. Julien Hearn, who earned the win from the mound, hit a home run in the sixth to give Neligh back the lead 16-13.
