With three public hearings on Tuesday, including one on a proposed annexation, the Neligh City Council has relocated its meeting.
Rather than the traditional council chambers at the city office, the meeting will now be at the Neligh Senior Center. The council meeting will also be streamed live by the Antelope County News on its website. The link is www.MyAntelopeCountyNews.com/live-streaming.
City Clerk Dana Klabenes said the meeting location has been changed to provide additional room for citizens to attend the meeting, which will begin at 6:30 p.m.
The meeting will open with a hearing on the proposed annexation and be followed by the first ready of annexation ordinances.
A second hearing will then be held on an amendment for a redevelopment plan, which is looking at the mill point project.
Several other items will follow that hearing before the third hearing of the night begins, which will be to review the downtown revitalization grant application. The City of Neligh plans to file an application to the Nebraska Department of Economic Development for a community development block grant.

The rest of the regular meeting will then follow, as well as reports from various department heads.
