With a large number of new professionals moving to the area recently, the Neligh Chamber of Commerce has decided to offer a new networking opportunity for all professionals in Antelope County.
The chamber announced Monday that they will host their first Young Professional's Group interest meeting on September 14. The event will be held at Imperial II in downtown Neligh with a social hour from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. followed by an interest gauging session until 7 p.m.
"Neligh's been blessed over the past six months to attract some very high quality individuals, from two new Physician Assistants to teacher to a new banker," said Greg Ptacek, Director of Economic Development for Neligh. "We took a moment to count the new young professionals and by our count, Neligh has welcomed 24 new young professionals in the past half year.
The found of Connecting Young Nebraskans will be present for the event at 6 p.m. to help promote discussion of what a young professional's group is.
Anyone that would like to participate in the event is welcome, regardless of age and profession. For questions, contact Greg or Lauren at (402) 887-4447 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com.
