A Neligh-Oakdale graduate has recently received her Nursing degree from Clarkson College.
Leah Anderson of Neligh, Neb. graduated on Saturday, Dec. 12. Anderson received a Master of Science degree in Nursing with a family nurse practitioner focus. She was a member of the Clarkson College Omicron Epsilon Chapter Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and of the National Society of Leadership and Success Sigma Alpha Pi Interdisciplinary Honor Society. The title of her capstone was “Effects of Nebraska Legislative Bill 107 on the Nurse Practitioner Student's Intention of Independent Rural Practice.”
Each semester a subcommittee of the Alumni Association of Clarkson College Board evaluates the Capstone abstracts that the Master’s degree seeking students submit prior to graduation. The Alumni Board awarded Leah the third place certificate for her abstract “Effects of Nebraska Legislative Bill 107 on the Nurse Practitioner Student’s Intention of Independent Rural Practice”.
Leah is the daughter of Larry Anderson and Carol Anderson. The granddaughter of Robert and Laura Mae Spieker and the late Leslie and Dorothy Anderson.
