More than $20,000 was donated to Antelope County 4-Hers during the annual premium auction on Saturday.
The animals were "auctioned" off to the highest bidders with the money then donated to the exhibitors, who also retain their animals. The funds are encouraged to be used for the purchase of more animals or to care for the animals.
All ribbon placings were eligible for auction in sheep, swine, market goats under 1 year of age, market breeds and second year bucket calves.
Logan Mueller's champion market steer topped all bids at $1,500. The Clearwater youth's steer was purchased by Clearwater Feed & Grain.
