One of Neligh’s own has become one of the 10,300 members throughout the United States, Canada, and 15 other countries to earn the designation of Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC).
Danielle Klabenes, CMC for the City of Neligh, was recently awarded by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC), Inc. Receiving this award is one Klabenes and the community should be proud of as the institute only grants this designation to municipal clerks who have completed demanding education requirements and have recorded significant contributions to their local government, community and state.
The mission of this global non-profit corporation is to enhance the education opportunities and professional development of its diverse membership. They believe that lifelong learning is not only desirable but necessary for all in local government to keep pace with the growing demands in the communities they serve.
Pride rings through the streets of Neligh for Klabenes’ achievement and constant support that she gives the community.
