Neligh-Oakdale shot nearly 60 percent from the field Tuesday as it won a battle of the Warriors, downing Crofton in the C2-9 subdistrict game in Wausa.
It was the Warriors' second-best shooting night of the season, behind the Bloomfield victory when Neligh-Oakdale shot 61 percent. The team is averaging 43 percent from the field.
The N-O boys picked up a 68-53 win to advance to the subdistrict final, which is set for 7 p.m. in Wausa on Thursday night. They will play Creighton, which defeated Niobrara/Verdigre 48-44.
Alex Kerkman hit 5 3-pointers while Tyson Belitz added two more on the night, finishing with 22 and 21 points, respectively. Grant White added 12; Clayton Anderson 5; and Chris Bentley and Pepper Marchant each added 4 more in the win. Marchant also grabbed 6 steals to spark the offense.
Neligh-Oakdale hit 59 percent from the field and was 8-of-19 from behind the arc.
