Join Hilltop Drugs Etc. in Neligh on Friday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. for a customer appreciation luncheon. Owners Koryn Koinzan and Jamie Schmidt are celebrating their 6th year in business with an open house and will be on hand to answer questions about their new services, including Redi-Medi. Redi-Medi packages your medication into individual bags, customizing each one with a date and time it is to be taken. For example, if you take three different medications at noon, all three will be in one package with that date and time to ensure the correct medication is taken at the correct time. There is no fee to have your medication packaged using Redi-Medi. Hilltop Drugs Etc. is the only pharmacy in Antelope County and one of just a handful of pharmacies in the state to offer this new technology. Hilltop Drugs Etc. is also offering a program called "Simplify My Meds." It syncs the medication refill process so everything is filled at once. The pharmacy has also expanded its counseling services and now offers Medication Counseling Management, which allows customers to sit down with their pharmacist to go over medication side effects and how medications will interact. Anyone with questions is encouraged to contact Hilltop at 402-887-5551, stop in and speak to employees or ask questions at the open house.
