There are lots of changes happening at a Neligh nursing home, beginning with a new name.
Neligh Care and Rehabilitation Center, formerly the Golden Living Center, has been acquired by Cottonwood Healthcare, a leading provider of senior care services in Nebraska. The acquisition is part of a larger deal that includes 21 other healthcare facilities across 17 counties in Nebraska.
According to a press release, Cottonwood is passionate about serving the Neligh senior community and plans to improve the processes and infrastructure of the Neligh Care & Rehabilitation Center by revamping their resident care plans. This includes carrying out staff stabilization, investing in clinical staff for enhanced clinical programs, and upgrading the physical facilities.
“We are excited to begin working with the residents and creating individualized programs and care plans for each of them. We have already begun our plans for expanding the services provided to patients and their families in the Neligh area,” said Cottonwood Administrator Isaac Smith.
Cottonwood Healthcare has assumed complete management responsibility for this facility and will implement new programs for its existing senior populations according to its missions and policies for home-like healthcare. The mission of Cottonwood Healthcare is to provide a real home life environment for each senior resident while making sure to offer the best healthcare available.
