Friday will mark Governor Pete Ricketts' first stop in Neligh since being elected into office.
According to public relations director Taylor Gage, the last time Ricketts was in Neligh was during his campaign. He spent time at Blackburn Manufacturing on that trip.
Ricketts will be speak to the public from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Friday, June 24, at the Neligh Senior Center.
“Nebraskans are invited to join Governor Ricketts at his upcoming town hall in Neligh,” Gage said. “This is a great opportunity to hear an update on how our state is growing, and also to make your voice heard. The Governor looks forward to hearing their thoughts on how we can move our state forward together.”
The topic will be a legislative update on how the session went and what was accomplished. The public is encouraged to attend.
