Computer classes will begin soon at the Neligh Public Library. The classes are being offered in partnership with Northeast Community College.
Intermediate Computers I:
Tuesday, April 8, 2014; 6:30-9:30 pm
Concepts will include starting programs, working with files and folders, tool bars, keyboard shortcuts and word processing tools such as cut, copy and paste. Inserting pictures and texts into documents will also be covered. This class is for the person who has some computer knowledge and can use the mouse and keyboard.
Intermediate Computers II:
Tuesday, April 15, 2014; 6:30-9:30 pm
Build upon your intermediate computer skills. Concepts will include how to size windows, backup files, save to a CD, flash drive, or external hard drive. Students will “cruise the web” using Internet Explorer. This class is for the person who has some computer knowledge.
Intermediate Computers III:
Tuesday, April 22, 2014; 6:30-9:30 pm
Continue to build upon your intermediate computer skills. Students will learn how to install and remove programs, basic computer maintenance, and customizing your Windows 7 system. This class is for the person with some computer knowledge and has potentially taken the Intermediate Computers I and II.
Class size is limited. 8 students required for class to be held.
