A Neligh teen finished her second round at the National High School Finals Rodeo in Rock Springs, Wyo. last night.
Catelyn Hall, an 18-year-old senior at Plainview High School, was the final contestant of the night in girls cutting at the Sweetwater Events Center.
At the end of her performance, Hall's score was announced as a "140 with a review," giving her a two-day total of 283 points.
Scores have since been updated, and the judges applied an apparent 6-point penalty. Her score is now listed as 134 with a combined total of 277, putting her in a tie for 18th place at this time. Hall's specific penalty is not indicated.
There are 98 contestants in girls cutting and the top 20 performances in first two long go-rounds will qualify for the short-go. The second round of girls cutting continues today.
