Northeast Nebraskans woke up to what feels like a 90 degree difference this morning.
An arctic front turned Saturday's 78 degree day into Sunday's 9 degree morning, which feels like minus-12 degrees.
Saturday was a perfect day for hanging Christmas lights in t-shirts, but Sunday will be frigid with a high of 20 expected. With the wind chill, it will feel like single digits.
According to the National Weather Service, cold air will continue plunging southward into the central Plains and Great Lakes regions behind an arctic front that will last a couple of days.
Temperatures are expected to climb back into the mid-40s by Tuesday.
